Will Power

The power of decisions in an indecision largely driven world.

People don't lack strength, they lack will. The will determines who we become in life, what we do, what we can achieve, how far we can go in life and how we will end up.

Decisions they say determine destiny. All actions are caused by decisions and the power of decision is the power of change. It is our decisions and not the system in society or the circumstances we face that determine whether we succeed or fail in life.

What you decide to do or not do, what you decide to think or not think is the important thing. It is what you decide to believe that you will express in your life. If you decide not to believe whatever negative things that manifests, somehow, nature has a way of turning your negative situation around for your own advantage.

There are some decisions that people made five, ten, fifteen years ago that are affecting them negatively today. Imagine how rich their lives would have developed if they had not made such negative decisions. And even now, some people are going to make some wrong decisions that will adversely affect their lives negatively for almost twenty years.

If you want your life to turn out sound and positive in the future, you have got to make some sound, strong and positive decisions about what you stand for, what you are going to stand for, what you are going to do, and what you will be committed to.

The reason why most people's lives don't turn out as planned is usually occasioned by the fact that at various critical junctions in their lives, they refused to make certain crucial decisions that would have changed the course of their lives; like marrying a God fearing Wife (my primary heart desire at the moment) and the negative repercussion of that singular decision has wrecked their lives almost beyond repair.

The funny thing about decisions is that once a negative one has been made, they are largely irreversible. Wrong decisions of the past shouldn't be the reason why your back is on the ground today. Common getup, dust your broken body and carry yourself with that visionary allure again, trust me man, you are more than you seem.

Never let negative decisions of the past of which you possess little or no power to influence hold you from achieving the will of God for your life. There is so much life ahead of you, don't give it up because of a one minute decision in the past that may be affecting your life now.

A real decision is made when you cut off any possibility of the alternative route or escape. The only way to impact your life is to make a strong positive decision and stand by it. It is at the very moment of decision that our destinies are shaped. All human progress begins with a new decision, one that inspires you to fight until progress is won.

Thoughts are always in the mind seeking expression and come to life as soon as it finds flesh and blood. Our principles, thoughts, choices,tastes, convictions, all show that there is so much of others in us.

So much of the time we are not ourselves and there is so much of others in us. We have borrowed so many negative things from others and have made them our own. And because we have so many of the negative things we see in others our own, there is therefore little of us in everything we do.

Many of us have made failures out of ourselves because of the choices we have made. My tastes are inherited, borrowed and copied from others. Man is a prefabricated concept. Your actions and reactions have been concept programmed by a carefully inner training that you have copied from others.

For us to be successful and be ourselves, we must make our own choices and stand by them. Even though some elements in my personality may be second hand, that force which is me is unique and that mixture is new and personal. I will therefore learn to know myself and be myself as I am within.

We are second handed people because our choices in life are based upon what we have borrowed from others or what we have seen them do. We are second handed because we have lived on what we are told and guided to do by others, we are the result of all kinds of influences and there is nothing original in us and nothing we have discovered in ourselves by ourselves and for ourselves.

We must learn to make choices we will live by, that which is original with us. If our choice is influenced by negative tendencies from people, there will be little of us that will help us for self development.

Mankind is generally blind and they have adopted that blindness because of the one that's in them. Not that it was forced on them but that they chose to remain with blind people and became blind also. If you choose to remain with blind and ignorant people, you will remain blind all the days of your life even though you have two eyes.

When a man in a society opens his eyes to see and dares to see, he is considered a threat to the group because he sees what they can't see, knows what they don't know.

We must base our decisions and choices on how they will affect our lives tomorrow. Decisions should be taken in the light of tomorrow's hopes and dreams, because the future is always bringing today's choice and decisions to bear into proper focus. Making decisions and choices with the end in view goes a long way towards ensuring a happy ending.
