We can only open up to those who really knows us and those we know very well ourselves because this age of digital transformation and social media has only made our lives more open to the deception of others who came as sheep in wolves clothing into our lives.
I like the ideas in your article and you maybe are a “ qualified” counselor and someone who would offer a caring ear and guidance that would bring out the individual’s own conscience to help them move forward. I am just a little hesitant to completely endorse some of the soul spilling I often see online. And we see it more and more onesided stories of all sorts of abuse and betrayal and often we are moved to give comfort. But that sort of “ talking to someone” is not always beneficial. Not only for the fact of what you mention that it is already out there in an app or a cloud or whatever data bases that are springing up but it is in a perfect garden of lies. It is the breeding ground of hypocrisy because no one is accountable or has any accountability. A friendly hello to a cashier is nice or even a conversation with your neighbor but to unburden yourself to a total stranger is not a way to actually find a solution to your pain and what’s troubling you. You need someone who can understand the context, someone who knows you not just what you tell them about you, and someone of integrity who can offer you compassion and ways to look at your situation and learn from it so that you can an move forward accepting the responsibility for your part in it also. Sorry, just having my first coffee and saw this. This is why we have Father confessors in the church so that we know as we are known and can receive some understanding of how to listen to our conscience and live with love as our first principle not self gratification.
I like the idea of talking to someone close and being kind to a neighbor or friend but not every body sees things the you'll want them which might lead to a misunderstanding
This is a very practical writing, I love it. This is a wonderful edification to me, although this is something I have put to practice, but this writing has encouraged me to connect to people and the world the more.
But I love all your practical real life ideas my friend. Didn’t mean to be critical. Thank you for this article! My friend just texted me now to say she would not be at Liturgy because she had another friend who needed some help!! 🎶He’s got the whole world in His hands!🎶and we are His hands!
I am grateful to you my friend! What’s that saying about steel sharpening iron or whatever ? Lol! I’m not either but it helps me to read thoughtful pieces and then reflect on them maybe puts me more in tune with my own thoughts but also helps to broaden my vision.
Very true Ma'am

Yeah, that's very true Ma'am as we all view life through the lenses of various cultural and spiritual perspectives.
This is a very practical writing, I love it. This is a wonderful edification to me, although this is something I have put to practice, but this writing has encouraged me to connect to people and the world the more.
